And if you haven't already, add it to your TBR list!

I'm hopeful that people are enjoying the book because I really, really enjoyed writing it. I wanted to pull my hair out at times, but ultimately, this was probably my favorite book to ever write. And Mia and River are probably my favorite couple to ever write for. I've never written any two people like them before, but I'm so grateful that they came to me when they did.

Again, this story was very personal for me in terms of the relationship between these two people. Ultimately, the story grew out of what I missed having for myself when I started writing this book in November of last year. I missed what it felt like to fall in love with someone and to have that special connection with someone. I missed what it was like to have that feeling of excitement in seeing someone that you care about. It was initially a pet project, something I hadn't ever planned to show anyone due to, as I said in a previous blog, my own personal fears. I wrote it as if no other eyes would ever see it but me and so I just went as far as I could go with it and have zero regrets in doing so (at least so far, lol).

I reveal more in an upcoming blog (as well as a few fun facts!), but for now, I hope you have a great start to your week and GOOD LUCK if you choose to enter the Goodreads giveaway contest!

River says he hoped you enjoy reading his story:

CRASHED: A SKULL & BONES MC

It's been a while!  So much has been going on within the world and my personal life that I had to take a severe step back with my writing. I hated it, but it was also necessary. Because I suffered from terrible writer's block and as a result, was unable to pen anything worth reading.  I started writing CRASHED sometime in 2020 before stopping and then trying to pick it up over the last four years. I was never bored with the story but overtime, became unmotivated to finish. Within the last few months, I was able to change that and finally finish the story that had initially gotten me back on my feet after Professor X .  There are some things I changed about the original story, such as the name of the MC, a few themes and the cover. But overall, the story itself is the same and has gone back to the roots of the first MC I had ever written and published, Inflamed . River and Mia also make appearances in this story, by the way.  If you would like to sign up to read an A...

CRASHED: A SKULL & BONES MC

Hope you can still be patient for CRASHED!  Real life things are getting in the way of edits coming to a close, and it's taking longer than I'd like.  But the book is still coming! Dates will be updated once everything is final.   Here's another quote from Jackson CRASH Timmons to Heaven Santiago.  This line is probably outta pocket, but I loved writing it anyway.  You were like an ongoin’ shot of heroin; the needle was hangin’ outta my arm like a goddamn addict and I was achin’ like a motherfucker to get back to that feelin’ you gave me in that truck.

#WriterWednesday - Inflamed 'Fun Fact!'

Did you know...? The scene in which Mia & River finally talk about their feelings for each other and hook up was written about a month before nearly everything else that happened prior to it. Right after I wrote the prologue and first three chapters, there was a giant gap of 'stuff' that was supposed to happen, but I wasn't sure how to fill it because I didn't know what any of that 'stuff' would be. So I decided to move forward with other parts of the story until it finally hit me. That exact moment of their hook up came to me as I was writing another scene, and I just went with it, all while having zero clue as to how the hell they got to that point (given where they started)! It was only when I finished those scenes that I knew what I was building up to and how the story itself would come to an end. It amplified and intensified every conversation and encounter between them, hence the name of the book. I changed the cover three times in the hope of ...
