Tentative Writing Schedule for 2016

SO! These are the next books I am working on this year:

Code Blue ~ A Shadow Riders MC
The Wedding ~ A Miss Independent Novel (Book 5)
Bound With You (Written under my pen name, "Sasha" and final book in the Bound Serial)

I had planned to write at least two more following (Styx's book, along with the final Miss Independent novel), but when Inflamed got pushed back to March, I had to step back and look at what I was actually capable of finishing before 2017 (this year is zipping by, good grief). And I realized that penning one book at a time REALLY works wonders for me creatively as opposed to writing so many stories at once. I am able to concentrate so much better, get all my ducks in a row, focus harder on characterization and flesh out a more authentic world and setting.

When I rush, the results are awful and it shows in the writing and story. So in order to give you the reading experience you deserve, I need to focus one at a time instead of being scatterbrained. At this scheduling, Styx's book will more than likely come out January 2017. IF I get done with my planned schedule before or around say, November of this year, I could put out a Shadow Riders novella. More than likely another Christmas book because the Miss Independent: A Naughty vs. Nice Novella was fun to write! The final, final Miss Independent book would come out after Styx's book next year.

Now, onto the scheduling:

The Wedding was meant to come out early this summer, but it's been pushed back to early fall. There's a portion of the plot that is not working for me with a certain character who may or may not kick the bucket and until I figure out what that is, I'm going to have to set it aside for a bit and think about it. I'm still debating on if this person should even die, but I have to go with what's best for the story and characters at hand, so whatever happens... happens. I love the character, so either way, it will be hard to let them go!

Bound With You never had an exact date, but I tried to keep it in line by putting it out in early summer. The upside is that it's a novella, meaning it doesn't take long to write/edit. So it will be out maybe a month at most, following The Wedding.

Code Blue is the book that has all of my attention right now. The only trouble I'm having (or maybe not exactly a trouble at all) is that I can't find an actual man in real life (famous or otherwise) who looks even close to the Blue inside my head. I've debated on a few men and thought about posting their pictures, but I think the character is just too uniquely good-looking for me to actually point and say AH HA! to a picture. If I ever have that moment while writing, I'll post what I find. But as of now, I'm loving the picture of him inside my own head!

And his mouth! He has a dirty, filthy, crude, 'say whatever the hell is on his mind' mouth; and I have to say, I think I love it more now in his own book than I did before.

I hope you will too!

I'm getting around to writing the synopsis for CODE and when I've polished it as best as I can get it, I will post it.

An exact date for release will be coming around the time I'm closer to finishing the book, so stay tuned!

In the meantime, I will be busy writing and attending my younger brother's high school graduation. I remember those years, and the feeling of getting out into the real world and hitting college was exhilarating! Then life happened and I learned adulthood was a real thing, along with responsibilities. I hope he cherishes these moments of still having TEEN attached to his age!

Finally, I want to thank everyone for their kind words and personal messages and reviews of my work! Thank you all so much for loving Miss Independent and Inflamed and passing the word along to your reading friends! Word of mouth from amazing readers who love the worlds I've created is really what has been keeping me going! So again, Thank You!!!

As always, have a blessed start to your weekend, stay safe out there, KEEP READING and ask your friends if they have been...

Are You Ready for A Brand New MC Romance?! ~ Introducing 'Reaper's Promise'

The original title was "Chained to the Bad Boy Biker" but as the plot grew to be more complicated and the characters developed, I decided to change the theme and title to ' REAPER'S PROMISE '. It will soon be both available for sale on AMAZON for 99cents and in Kindle Unlimited. So if you are part of that program, you will be able to read this book for FREE in the library! Here is the blurb along with the official cover: "They play by the rules and get f*cked. We don't and never do."   Colette: I woke up in Vegas married to my ex-boyfriend's hot as hell biker brother. Not that I'm exactly complaining considering I've practically been in love with him since forever, but... Record scratch. Wait a second. I bet you're wondering how the hell a kindergarten teacher got here, right? Well join the (biker) club, because so am I!     Roman: She woke up next to me in Vegas with a diamond cuff around her ankle a...

FWIW: This is a Personal Note, so Please Read at Your Own Risk

I truly appreciate the passion many readers have for Inflamed - the title is very aptly named, I think. However ( and I never planned to do this and don't really ever plan to address something like this again in the future, but it's kind of getting to me personally and affecting my daily writing process for the next book ), I don't think I expected some of the more vitriolic messages I've received as a result of this book either. Now, I expected opposition to the story/characters/writing/setting/swearing before I was even halfway done with the book, so that's not what this is about. People are entitled to feel how they choose and once a book leaves my hands and is in yours, it's no longer something I "own". Truth be told, I really appreciate hearing all sides because it helps me to grow as an author, and this is where reader feedback comes in. But I think that a line of respect on both ends sort of needs to be drawn as well. I stay away from revi...

A Shadow Riders MC: Bluespiration

Blue + Inspiration = Bluespiration... You get it. Anywho! It took me awhile, but I think I finally found my Blue! Now he's younger than I'd like, a wee bit taller than he should be, his eyes are a different color than written and his hair is much longer than Blue's will ever get...  BUT. BUT. BUT. BUT . LOOK AT THIS GUY. JUST LOOK. ( I'm not sure where this picture is from originally, but I got it from PINTEREST ) He's like Tarzan and Thor all rolled into one or something. His name is Brock O'Hurn and he's an apparent Instagram star because he looks, well, like that . I'd seen him before ( long before I penned a single Shadow Riders book ) but when I kept thinking about Blue and what he looked like, a face similar to this is what kept popping up. To me, Blue has always had the wisdom of someone like Bobby from #SOA but looks as if he could even set the sun on fire. Anyway, I thought I'd sha...
