Miss Independent gets a face lift!

I've recently updated the cover of Miss Independent!

I liked the last cover okay, but since I used real people for the covers of books 2 - 4, only "cartoonized", I wanted to have that same look for book 1 as well to give the series a more cohesive look.

The paperback version will be updated shortly!

I like this version a lot better because it reflects more of Vanessa's tone in this book. A little somber, a little bitter, a little angry. That's this book in a nutshell when it comes to her character. She's got a lot of, excuse my language, shit to work through in this book as well as the others, but this one shows the beginning of her journey. I can't wait to post the cover of book 5 to show just how far she's come since that very first page!

I hope you all are enjoying Truth & Consequences! That book took *a lot* out of me while writing it, despite it being a lot of fun to finish. If you liked what you read, reviews are always welcome! I love encouraging people to give a try to at least book one at only 99cents! The price may change at some point, I'm not sure. I'm working out a few deals in the meantime.

I hope you all are having a great Monday and as always, happy reading!

CRASHED: A SKULL & BONES MC

It's been a while!  So much has been going on within the world and my personal life that I had to take a severe step back with my writing. I hated it, but it was also necessary. Because I suffered from terrible writer's block and as a result, was unable to pen anything worth reading.  I started writing CRASHED sometime in 2020 before stopping and then trying to pick it up over the last four years. I was never bored with the story but overtime, became unmotivated to finish. Within the last few months, I was able to change that and finally finish the story that had initially gotten me back on my feet after Professor X .  There are some things I changed about the original story, such as the name of the MC, a few themes and the cover. But overall, the story itself is the same and has gone back to the roots of the first MC I had ever written and published, Inflamed . River and Mia also make appearances in this story, by the way.  If you would like to sign up to read an A...

CRASHED: A SKULL & BONES MC

Hope you can still be patient for CRASHED!  Real life things are getting in the way of edits coming to a close, and it's taking longer than I'd like.  But the book is still coming! Dates will be updated once everything is final.   Here's another quote from Jackson CRASH Timmons to Heaven Santiago.  This line is probably outta pocket, but I loved writing it anyway.  You were like an ongoin’ shot of heroin; the needle was hangin’ outta my arm like a goddamn addict and I was achin’ like a motherfucker to get back to that feelin’ you gave me in that truck.

#WriterWednesday - Inflamed 'Fun Fact!'

Did you know...? The scene in which Mia & River finally talk about their feelings for each other and hook up was written about a month before nearly everything else that happened prior to it. Right after I wrote the prologue and first three chapters, there was a giant gap of 'stuff' that was supposed to happen, but I wasn't sure how to fill it because I didn't know what any of that 'stuff' would be. So I decided to move forward with other parts of the story until it finally hit me. That exact moment of their hook up came to me as I was writing another scene, and I just went with it, all while having zero clue as to how the hell they got to that point (given where they started)! It was only when I finished those scenes that I knew what I was building up to and how the story itself would come to an end. It amplified and intensified every conversation and encounter between them, hence the name of the book. I changed the cover three times in the hope of ...
