CRASHED: A SKULL AND BONES MC Update and ARC sign up!

Six years late and ten dollars short? OF COURSE!

I started writing CRASHED in the middle of the pandemic.

Right after I finished Professor X, I thought of the idea for CRASHED and instantly started writing.

I completed about 56k words within the span of a month and thought, oh yeah, I've got this!

Reader, I did not in fact have IT.

In all those words, I still had:

No motive.

No plot.

No story.

I had an idea but I had nothing really to show for it. I had a bunch of words that went well together, characters that had chemistry and a setting that I loved. But I couldn't tell a "story" that made sense.

It took a lot of starts and stops, a lot of personal growth, a LOT of personal trials and tribulations to finally get me to a point where I feel "GREAT" about this story. I feel GREAT enough to finally put it out there. I feel GREAT enough for people to finally judge it and me all over again.

I still don't have a date because as I've gone through edits, the book has gone through a lot of changes, fixes and reevaluations. Meaning, scenes had to be fully rewritten and taken out completely. Character motivations flipped, and while the overall plot remained the same, the story needed to make sense to get from the beginning, to the middle and finally the end.

So here we are, so many years, months and moons later. I don't want to just "throw" this book out there because I've worked hard on it and want to have enough time to get the word out before it's put on the ZON.

In the meantime, if you are one of my regular readers and are interested in an ARC (and you haven't already signed up), you can sign up HERE. If you've never read one of my books before, please start with reading INFLAMED to get an idea of how I tell a story. Get a feel for my characters, my MC worlds, the men who run them and the women who love them. I write gritty and raw stories, nothing is sugar coated, nothing is held back.

CRASHED will likely go LIVE in MAY of this year, but again, an exact release date is TBD. It will also likely be a pre-order (though the pre-order will only last for a few weeks etc).

Thank you for being patient with me after all these years.

And if you want a refresher on the BLURB, here it is!

A love strong enough to endure a series of shattered lifetimes apart.

Ten years ago, Jackson "Crash" Timmons was known throughout Tampa as the man with iron fists and of few words. Born into a life of bikes, booze and women, he never cared about much of anything beyond his brothers and role as Vice President of the Skull & Bones MC until he met a fiery tornado hell-bent on turning his world upside down, and flipping his heart inside out.

Ten years ago, Heaven Santiago was known as nothing more than a 'teenage tag along' within the Demons MC. An eighteen year old of too many words and a smile bright enough to light up the darkest soul, she was forced into the Sarasota based club by her older, groupie sister and quickly found herself surrounded by men from all parts of the world who often wanted all parts of her. Though none of them ever managed to capture her heart like the brother from the other side of the tracks who was hell-bent on keeping her at bay until he no longer could.

After their first and only kiss put a Demons' bullet through his chest and nearly killed his best friend, he cut her off and filled the void with other women who would never measure up. But when she returns to his compound in need of help after becoming a prime suspect in the murder of the Demons' former president, he does everything within his power as VP to keep her safe, including replacing his promise of remaining a lifelong bachelor with the promise of making her his lifetime wife.

This is a BWWM Motorcycle Romance.
PLEASE take heed to the triggers within this book.

His lips met hers like a rush of waves crashing against the base of a pillar, opening and closing in fervent sync as they found perfect rhythm; his tongue explored every inch of her mouth as if it was the only one he had ever hoped to taste; the only one he had ever hoped to feel against the shape of his own. He caressed her with a certain delicacy; a heightened fervor as a burst of heat boiled her skin, damn near setting her lungs on fire.

CRASHED: A SKULL & BONES MC

Hope you can still be patient for CRASHED!  Real life things are getting in the way of edits coming to a close, and it's taking longer than I'd like.  But the book is still coming! Dates will be updated once everything is final.   Here's another quote from Jackson CRASH Timmons to Heaven Santiago.  This line is probably outta pocket, but I loved writing it anyway.  You were like an ongoin’ shot of heroin; the needle was hangin’ outta my arm like a goddamn addict and I was achin’ like a motherfucker to get back to that feelin’ you gave me in that truck.

#WriterWednesday - Inflamed 'Fun Fact!'

Did you know...? The scene in which Mia & River finally talk about their feelings for each other and hook up was written about a month before nearly everything else that happened prior to it. Right after I wrote the prologue and first three chapters, there was a giant gap of 'stuff' that was supposed to happen, but I wasn't sure how to fill it because I didn't know what any of that 'stuff' would be. So I decided to move forward with other parts of the story until it finally hit me. That exact moment of their hook up came to me as I was writing another scene, and I just went with it, all while having zero clue as to how the hell they got to that point (given where they started)! It was only when I finished those scenes that I knew what I was building up to and how the story itself would come to an end. It amplified and intensified every conversation and encounter between them, hence the name of the book. I changed the cover three times in the hope of ...

CRASHED: A SKULL & BONES MC

It's been a while!  So much has been going on within the world and my personal life that I had to take a severe step back with my writing. I hated it, but it was also necessary. Because I suffered from terrible writer's block and as a result, was unable to pen anything worth reading.  I started writing CRASHED sometime in 2020 before stopping and then trying to pick it up over the last four years. I was never bored with the story but overtime, became unmotivated to finish. Within the last few months, I was able to change that and finally finish the story that had initially gotten me back on my feet after Professor X .  There are some things I changed about the original story, such as the name of the MC, a few themes and the cover. But overall, the story itself is the same and has gone back to the roots of the first MC I had ever written and published, Inflamed . River and Mia also make appearances in this story, by the way.  If you would like to sign up to read an A...
