He rattled his head and turned away from the television set to look directly into my eyes, and groaned. "Don't you go lookin' at me like that, darlin'."

 I shoved my brows together and shook my head at him. "Looking at you like what?"

 He raised the remote and clicked the off button, then turned his entire body toward me and leaned in so close that I was forced to breathe him in. My lips parted in an instant and as he exhaled, the taste of cigarettes and beer coated the entirety of my tongue. 

 It was far from sublime but I didn't care because that taste was a part of him, a deep rooted part of who he had always been. A part I craved and longed for, and so desperately wanted and needed for myself. It was a part that no matter how hard I tried would never be able to let go of; a part that if I held onto tight enough would soon become mine, and only mine until the end of forever.

 "Darlin'." A smirk ticked up the corner of his mouth and as my chest descended, then rose, his attention dropped down to the exposed part of my breasts. But I wanted so much more from him than that. 

God, I needed so much more than I knew he'd ever be willing to give me...

 "How am I looking at you right now, Blue?" I asked him, though by now I was almost sure of the answer. 

 As his eyes remained focused on my breasts, he drew his tongue across his bottom lip, then slid it across the top and flared his nostrils. "Like if I gave you permission to climb over my cock," he started, "you'd sit that juicy ass right here and fuckin' ride me 'til your body gave out..." He lifted his eyes back up to mine and deepened his smile. "Ride me 'til your skin was slick and soaked, wet with nothin' but my goddamn sweat and taste of my fuckin' tongue... 'Til those beautiful goddamn eyes of yours rolled so far back into your head that even as you lost every inch of control..." He stopped and leaned in even closer, forcing me to hold in my next breath. "Ride me 'til I made you come, darlin'. 'Til the only goddamn name you'd be screamin' out -- the only goddamn name makin' you unable to fuckin' think or even breathe, belonged to no other motherfucker but me."

#WriterWednesday - Inflamed 'Fun Fact!'

Did you know...? The scene in which Mia & River finally talk about their feelings for each other and hook up was written about a month before nearly everything else that happened prior to it. Right after I wrote the prologue and first three chapters, there was a giant gap of 'stuff' that was supposed to happen, but I wasn't sure how to fill it because I didn't know what any of that 'stuff' would be. So I decided to move forward with other parts of the story until it finally hit me. That exact moment of their hook up came to me as I was writing another scene, and I just went with it, all while having zero clue as to how the hell they got to that point (given where they started)! It was only when I finished those scenes that I knew what I was building up to and how the story itself would come to an end. A Shadow Riders MC: Bluespiration

Blue + Inspiration = Bluespiration... You get it. Anywho! It took me awhile, but I think I finally found my Blue! Now he's younger than I'd like, a wee bit taller than he should be, his eyes are a different color than written and his hair is much longer than Blue's will ever get...  BUT. BUT. BUT. BUT . LOOK AT THIS GUY. JUST LOOK. ( I'm not sure where this picture is from originally, but I got it from PINTEREST ) He's like Tarzan and Thor all rolled into one or something. His name is Brock O'Hurn and he's an apparent Instagram star because he looks, well, like that . I'd seen him before ( long before I penned a single Shadow Riders book ) but when I kept thinking about Blue and what he looked like, a face similar to this is what kept popping up.
