Miss Independent Book 4: Truth & Consequences, PRE ORDER & RELEASE DATE

In TRUTH & CONSEQUENCES, the fourth book in the Miss Independent series, Sheila and Nathan come to terms with the current status of their relationship. Vanessa and Maurice attempt to make plans for the future despite outside interference. And as Nikki gets drawn back into her past life with Oscar, Melanie threatens to reveal the smoking gun that may keep them apart forever.

I really tried to keep the books at least 2 to 3 months apart at the most, but I couldn't possibly keep up with that pattern after Live & Learn. I LOVED writing it, however, it was extremely long (over 100K words) and I felt a little drained having penned three very long books back to back to back. I wanted to take a little more time in writing this book because I knew it would be long as well and I didn't want to feel burnt out again.

If you haven't read Live & Learn yet, get on it before Truth drops because it picks up right where L&L left off!

I appreciate everyone taking their time to read my books and send me messages! Just a little FYI, there will be two more books following this one to complete the series. Fair warning that the FINAL book in the series will focus on only two characters this time, instead of the core five of Vanessa, Nathan, Sheila, Nikki and Maurice.

This one is fun to write as well, but is also making me a little sad in more places than the first three books. But the one thing that I do like about this book is that some people are finally growing up and moving on with their lives, while others... don't, and may regress.

#WriterWednesday - Inflamed 'Fun Fact!'

Did you know...? The scene in which Mia & River finally talk about their feelings for each other and hook up was written about a month before nearly everything else that happened prior to it. Right after I wrote the prologue and first three chapters, there was a giant gap of 'stuff' that was supposed to happen, but I wasn't sure how to fill it because I didn't know what any of that 'stuff' would be. So I decided to move forward with other parts of the story until it finally hit me. That exact moment of their hook up came to me as I was writing another scene, and I just went with it, all while having zero clue as to how the hell they got to that point (given where they started)! It was only when I finished those scenes that I knew what I was building up to and how the story itself would come to an end. A Shadow Riders MC: Bluespiration

Blue + Inspiration = Bluespiration... You get it. Anywho! It took me awhile, but I think I finally found my Blue! Now he's younger than I'd like, a wee bit taller than he should be, his eyes are a different color than written and his hair is much longer than Blue's will ever get...  BUT. BUT. BUT. BUT . LOOK AT THIS GUY. JUST LOOK. ( I'm not sure where this picture is from originally, but I got it from PINTEREST ) He's like Tarzan and Thor all rolled into one or something. His name is Brock O'Hurn and he's an apparent Instagram star because he looks, well, like that .
