*Takes a deep breath* I've written a new book. An unconventional romance that is completely unlike anything I've ever written before. This story took me on a journey of discovery and I learned about myself, about intolerance and about people. I stepped completely outside of the box to write this story and after a lot of soul searching, I'm glad that I finally did and am putting it out there. It won't be everyone's cup of tea and I understand that, which is why I've written it under a pen name. I need to be able to spread my wings as a writer and create stories outside of my comfort zone and more importantly, stories outside of the norm. I need to be able to sink into myself and really think about who I am and what I want and who I want to be. I'll be 30 years old in two weeks and I'm realizing that time is tick, tick, ticking away and I can't waste anymore of it by NOT doing the things I want to do or writing the books I want to write out of fear....

In The Wedding, the fifth book in the Miss Independent series, Vanessa and Maurice plan for one of the most important days of their lives as Sheila and Adrian question the current state of their relationship following a huge revelation. Meanwhile, Oscar and Nikki come to terms with mistakes made in the past just as Nathan and Melanie come together and announce their own plans for the future.     Two people get married. Two people announce their pregnancies. And someone (may) die(s).  This will be the last one featuring all five main characters. Book 6 will only focus on TWO of them, and that will in fact be the final book in this series. I hope you enjoyed/are enjoying Truth & Consequences .
