Decision Makers is now LIVE on Amazon and other retailers!

The second book in the Miss Independent series is now available for purchase! Don't forget to download a copy HERE !!!! If you're interested in the paperback version, find it HERE !!! As well as HERE on Barnes & Noble. And if you haven't already, be sure to check out the first book in the Miss Independent series before starting the second! Trust me when I say that you will need to read book one before diving into book two so that you won't be confused on characters, situations, etc! Miss Independent is currently available to download for FREE on Amazon Kindle in the link provided above. Today is the last day to snag a free copy, so get it while you can and tell a friend! Once the promotion is up, it will be available for $.99 as well as FREE on Kindle Unlimited until April 14 ! Just a reminder, after April 14th, Miss Independent will be removed from KDP Unlimited so that I am able to place it on other platforms along with the coming books within the series...

Welcome to 2015!

Happy, happy, HAPPY New Year! So thankful for this year, it's unbelievable! Also very thankful for those that continue to buy my books and read this blog! In case anyone was wondering (I'm not exactly sure how many people really read this blog, but just in case, lol) I also write under the pen name, "Inez". I have two other books written under that name, though they are YA. You can find them here and here  !! They are both the first in planned series' (2 more books a piece). The Inner Circle will be listed as FREE tomorrow on Amazon Kindle, btw! I've changed the cover, which you can apparently only see while viewing a sample. As of now, the cover is just this generic looking thing that at the time, I felt was fitting, but the more I have looked at it, it just *looks* like a stock photo. And it is, but I don't want it to look like that. Anyway. Unfortunately, it will take me time to get around to finishing both of the second and third books (as wel...

New Year! (Or at least it will be soon enough) New Projects!

I have continued to be completely MIA, and I apologize about that, sincerely! My laptop crashed sometime in mid-September and I was only now able to get another one. I had to use my phone to communicate via not only phone calls, but emails as well. That only worked well for so long. In the meantime, I'll be transferring manuscripts and notes from the old laptop to the new one. There are still two more planned books in the Royal Chronicles of Denmark series, but I'm going to need all of my ducks in a row before I can continue on with it in the way it was always intended. I need to get back inside their heads and kind of relearn the characters, which is always fun, but also challenging. As I'm getting all of that together, I have also been working on a new story that is SO different from the Royal Chronicles series! It really is a fresh setting with a modern day time period. I'm so excited about it! These characters have been running around inside my head for the la...

Sneak Peek!

Well, HELLO! from the great beyond! Almost. My, my! March is almost over, April is in 4 days and I’ve been a very, very, busy woman since this new year started! Real life work is getting a bit hectic as many of my coworkers are moving on and I haven’t had time to blog for the life of me! Let alone tweet from my Royal Chronicles account! FWIW, I do tweet quite often on my general account @RealKDPFan4Eva. And when I say general, I mean it is general . I will tweet anything from books to authors I love to soap operas, (to soap writers), to Real Housewives, to and most importantly, Scandal. I also toss out a few random tweets here and there when the mood strikes. So follow me there if you choose! I literally answer everyone who sends me a tweet, good or bad :-). All that said, I'm hoping to get back into the swing of things around here really, really, soon!!! Now that that randomness is out of the way, onto more important subject matters and the real reason I’ve risen from t...

O Sheriff, Where Art Thou?

Warning: Please do not read this post if you have *not* read Her Royal Seduction , as this post contains spoilers. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * The number one question I seem to get in emails is “What happened to the Sheriff?” I have to be honest and say that I’m surprised some people cared and weren’t just glad he left already. LOL There’s a scene toward the end of the story where it seems he sort of disappears, but he doesn’t. People like that never go away quietly. If they are determined to see you fall from ‘grace’, they’re going to make damn sure it happens one way or another and that they are around to see it and smirk and sneer and point and laugh with utter glee. Since I’m writing a series, I left his presence open-ended in book one, meaning he could come back at any time in later books and royally (heh) screw with the Belarus clan. Particularly, in the second book of the series, the Sheriff is [ SPOILER ALERT/Highlight to read ] s...

I'll get the hang of this, eventually....

I initially started this blog because > insert shameless self promotion here < I've written a book. Well, a few. I started a blog in high school when I was going through my I HATE THE WORLD AND EVERYONE IN IT phase, but never kept up with it. And then, I started one in college when I was going through my HIPSTER/EMO phase, neither of which I ever really grew out of even now at 27 years young . Anyway, I constantly read how authors need a platform and need to get the word out about their books and need to promote and need to basically make themselves as known as possible to readers and bloggers and so on, especially self published like myself, as we have no "team", no "publicists", and no real way to advertise unless we pay for it, literally. And if one is like me, you try to save every single dime you can for most things often taken advantage of like gas and food and clean clothes. I've tossed out a few coins here and there for ads in the hopes t...
